There is Power in love

Hi, I hope my letter brings you hope. I write not to please but be of service. As I only live to please God. If I write or don’t his love for me never changes. He is so good and deserves all the praise and glory. So, I delight in sharing his truth. For, the word of God is life and there is power in his love. He uplifts and encourages one to fullness of heart. Highlighting the beauty within you that struggles and trauma tries to shut in. One thing we have in common is this. We all desire to be happy each day. But as we know, the world we live in reflects the opposite. So, what choice do we make. Should you choose the path of happiness or dwell in the path of darkness?

If you’ve been reading my blog, you might have noticed the common theme of love. Yes, I love love and is the reason I write. We want love yet fall short to receive it. The world was created in love and to live without is empty. I would describe the love of God as a burning bush. Once lit, it spreads rapidly and consumes everything in its path. A love so powerful that I still can’t comprehend why he loves me so much. Loves my uniqueness, loudness, and playfulness that others might despise. Then again, I live for christ and not people. Giving up is easy. And to live in doubt is the goal of the enemy. But, there is a higher power that breaks forth all strongholds with love. Turn your ears to the wisdom of the Lord and let his knowledge guide your heart.

Love Heals

Each day comes with its own trouble. For instance, I woke up happy and excited today. Soon, I felt vulnerable and overwhelmed with emotion. I didn’t ask for this but here I am having to deal with it. So, rather than to remain in self pity. I ran to the love that I know and offered it up in prayer. God listens and is closer to you than your next breath. Romans 8:26 “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” One, too many times it’s not a coincidence. He is present at all times and the vigor in time of weakness. Walking in faith is like a baby taking their first step, but know that each step is a victory.

So, should you accept defeat? Should you remain complacent? Or do you persevere? “I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul” Psalms 31:7. It’s a fallen world, so we are going to face trials. But, God already knew this and made his power available in love for us. His love creates a space for you and I to shelter in place. The choice is yours. But, please know that his unfailing love is present at all times. He knows the pain you carry that was inflicted by the world. That’s why he died to save and not to condemn who you are. Your story is not over and your struggles don’t define you.

Give in to Love

All I did was accept him. Which is why he is the only voice I allow speak life in me. When in a relationship with him, you get to know more. There is nothing too little to cast into the hands of God. I pray you are content in all things. But, never content to the joy and fullness of life found in Christ Jesus. It starts with believing. That simple right? 🤔 hmm..

Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour

1st Peter 5:7-8

Guys, if he says bring your anxiety, vulnerabilities, pain, fear e.t.c. I suggest you run as fast as an olympian. Usain Bolt to be precise 😂 and dumb it all in his hands. That is exactly what I did and still do. No shame here. The enemy is out here for folks and I refuse to be a victim. You have the power of the Holy Spirit in you to resist the devil. Allow God be the only voice you listen to and he will direct your steps. Very distinct, as one uplifts and the other steals, robs, and destroys. The goodness of God is all around us. The question is are we humble enough and willing to accept help? I remember building up walls as barriers to protect myself from hurt and disappointment. Well, that proved to be shaky and unstable. So, it crashed as I built.

The Source of Life

Hence, build a wall on a firm foundation. One that cannot be shaken, the living water. “Whoever believes in me as scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them” John 7:38. Water that nourishes from the root upward yielding fruits. If you are in love with God, please remain close to the power and source. Because the devil takes any opportunity he gets to offer up a false fruit. Jesus is the living water. I testify to the truth of his word in my life and have seen his love exemplified by others. The Spirit of the living God dwells in you and I, all we have to do is believe in him. For to live by Spirit is life and by flesh is death. I love you and pray for peace in your lives 🙏🏾
